LAWRENCE, Kan. Bernie Kosar Jersey . -- Kansas sophomore Perry Ellis is a man of very few words. Chances are the roughly 16,000 fans chanting his name Saturday could help him out. Ellis scored a career-high 32 points to lead the seventh-ranked Jayhawks to a 95-65 victory over TCU, and then answered every question posed to him in his typically understated fashion. Did you feel in a rhythm? "Definitely felt in a rhythm," he replied. What did you think of the chants? "It felt good, just great fan support," he said. Leave it to his teammates to describe the best game of his career. "He takes good shots in a rhythm, and he always looks for his teammates," said Andrew Wiggins of Vaughan, Ont., who added 17 points. "He was aggressive all game, attacking the hoop, making 3s. He did everything." Ellis also had eight rebounds and five assists while shooting 13 of 15 from the field. "Fantastic game," said Wayne Selden Jr., who scored 15 for the Jayhawks. Playing without injured centre Joel Embiid and suspended forward Brannen Greene, Kansas (19-6, 10-2 Big 12) got off to a slow start but still managed to take a 47-40 lead into the break. The Jayhawks then used a 13-1 charge out of the locker room to put away the Horned Frogs. TCU (9-15, 0-12) still has not won since knocking off Texas Southern on Dec. 29. Kyan Anderson did all he could, scoring 21 of his 25 points in the first half. Amric Fields added 12 points, but otherwise a team thats been depleted by injuries much of the season wasnt able to hang with the impressive depth of the Jayhawks. "You know what? I thought we competed as well as we have for a while," TCU coach Trent Johnson said. "Kyan did a really, really good job of keeping us in the game in the first half, but theyre really good. Theyre really good." Embiid, who has emerged as one of the nations top NBA prospects, has been dealing with ankle and back injuries that have limited his floor time the last several weeks. He didnt practice in the run-up to TCU and wound up watching from the bench, though he routinely leaped out of his seat to celebrate the myriad of alley-oop dunks that highlighted the Jayhawks second half. Self said he should be available Tuesday at Texas Tech. Greene, a freshman swingman, also is expected back after sitting out for what Self called "a slippage from a responsibility standpoint." Reserve forward Jamari Traylor got back on the court for Kansas and finished with a career-high 10 points and eight rebounds. The sophomore was held out of Monday nights overtime loss to Kansas State for what Self also had described as irresponsible behaviour. The two of them spoke Thursday and Self decided to let Traylor play. Self turned to Traylor when Tarik Black, who started in Embiids place, picked up two fouls in the opening 2 minutes. It was part of a miserable early stretch for Kansas that included a 1-for-7 performance from the foul line and very little defence. Of course, the Horned Frogs had a hand in that performance. Anderson was 7 of 8 from the field and 5 for 5 from the foul line in the first half, and TCU -- which came in shooting a Big 12-worst 40.9 per cent -- was hitting at a 56.5-per cent clip. "Its all rhythm," Anderson said. "We put pretty good pressure on them in the first half." Then the second half started, and the Jayhawks began playing above the rim. Black, Wiggins and Selden each were on the finishing end of alley-oop passes during what turned into a 23-5 run, giving Kansas a 70-45 lead midway through the second half. Johnson burned through a series of timeouts, but none seemed to quiet a star-studded crowd that included several NBA stars and Barbara Eden of "I Dream of Jeannie" fame. The Jayhawks started to empty the bench with about five minutes left, shortly after Ellis knocked down a 3-pointer from the corner and the crowd started chanting his name. "He was great," Self said. "He made shots, stretched it, then made mid-range shots, took the ball strong to the hole. I think one of his two misses he got back. He was without question our best player today. Other guys played well offensively, but certainly nobody played like Perry." Kevin Hogan Jersey . Others describe it as taking the parrot for a walk. Calvin Pryor Jersey . The game got off to a less-than-ideal start for the Jets as Oliver Ekman-Larsson found a wide open net from the slot and opened the scoring for the Coyotes a lead in the first period, but Olli Jokinen answered back just over half a minute later. http://www.brownsauthenticproshop.com/Youth-Seth-DeValve-Browns-Jersey/ . The 21-year-old Canadian earned a spot in his third career ATP final on Saturday thanks to his first Top 10 victory of the new tennis season, a 6-4, 6-4 win over world no. 10 Nicolas Almagro of Spain.ST. PETERSBURG, FL - Toronto right-hander Drew Hutchison makes his first big- league appearance since June 2012 on Tuesday night when the Blue Jays visit the Tampa Bay Rays for the second test of a four-game season-opening series at Tropicana Field. A native of nearby Lakeland, Fla., Hutchison was 5-3 in 11 appearances with the Blue Jays two seasons ago before an elbow injury shelved him for the remainder of the schedule and ultimately prompted ligament-replacement surgery that scrapped his entire 2013 season on the major-league level. He made 10 appearances across three minor-league levels in the Blue Jays organization last year and was 0-4 with a 4.81 earned run average in 35 1/3 innings, then was 1-1 in four spring-training starts this year while posting a 1.50 ERA across 15 innings. In one career meeting against the Rays, Hutchison was tagged for seven hits and six runs in four innings of an 8-5 loss at Tropicana Field on May 22, 2012. "I just think he looks stronger, his bodys filled out even more," Blue Jays pitching coach Pete Walker said. "I think hes coming into his own. Hes more mature. I just cant get over how he carries himself. Hes actually a young leader on this team." The Rays will oppose him with right-hander Alex Cobb, whos won 11 games in each of his first two big-league seasons. The Boston native was a fourth-round pick of the Rays in the 2006 draft and initially reached the majors at the tail end of 2011, when he made nine starts and won three gamees while posting a 3. Cobb is 2-0 with a 1.35 ERA in two career starts against the Blue Jays, whove managed eight hits and struck out nine times in 13 1/3 innings. On Monday, in a matchup of the 2012 Cy Young winners, David Price outdueled R.A. Dickey and the Rays took down the Blue Jays, 9-2. Price (1-0) threw seven scoreless innings before giving up a two-run homer to Erik Kratz in the top of the eighth. The 2012 AL Cy Young winner finished with six strikeouts, allowing six hits and one walk in 7 1/3 innings. Reigning AL Rookie of the Year Wil Myers went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI in his first Opening Day start for Tampa Bay. Matt Joyce drove in three runs while going 2-for-2 with a double and Evan Longoria and James Loney picked up an RBI apiece. The 2012 NL Cy Young winner, Dickey (0-1) lasted five innings, getting knocked around for six runs and five hits while walking six and fanning four. Kratz was the lone bright spot for Toronto, smacking a two-run homer on the first and only pitch he saw. Tampa won 11 of its 19 matchups with the Blue Jays last season. In fact, Toronto hasnt won a series at Tropicana Field since April 6-8, 2007, with Tampa Bay going 19-0-1 in series play since then. The Rays 148 wins over the Jays and their 84 wins at Tropicana Field are their most against any opponent.
